The Conni Anti-Slip Shower and Bath Mat is designed to provide added comfort underfoot while helping improve traction on suitable bath and shower bases.  While it supports safer footing on wet bathroom surfaces, it does not eliminate the risk of slipping or falling.
Conni’s Shower Mat is designed to suction securely onto clean, smooth bath and shower bases and should be removed for cleaning and drying between uses.  Performance depends on correct placement, surface suitability and regular care. Factors such as water, soap, bath oils, additives, surface residue, wear and natural movement during use may affect adhesion and traction.
Always ensure the mat is suitable for your bath or shower surface and follow all directions for use. Where additional support is required, consider using appropriate bathroom safety aids such as grab rails.

Surface Compatibility: Designed for use on clean, smooth bath and shower bases only.
Ensure Flat Placement: Edges may lift if the mat is not positioned correctly. Always ensure it lies flat before use.

For added peace of mind, the Conni Anti-Slip Shower Mat can be used alongside our Conni Absorbent Anti-Slip Floor Mats, which are designed for use outside the shower or bath. Using both together helps create a safer bathroom environment by providing stable footing inside the wet area and on surrounding bathroom floors that may become wet during or after showering or bathing.

Anti-Slip performance is best achieved when the shower mat is used on a clean, smooth and flat non-textured surface.
Some cleaning products may interfere with the anti-slip performance of the product.

Rinse After Use: Rinse the shower mat with clean water after use and hang to air dry. Allowing the mat to dry between uses helps maintain hygiene and performance.

Dry Between Uses: Ensure the mat is fully dry before repositioning in the shower or bath.

Hand Wash Only: Hand wash using warm water and a mild detergent as needed. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, bath oils or harsh cleaning agents, as these may affect the PVC and suction performance.

No Machine Washing: Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron.

Store Flat or Gently Rolled: When not in use, store flat or gently rolled once fully dry. Avoid tightly folding for long periods and store away from direct sunlight.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Before First Use: Soak the mat in warm water for 10 minutes to help prepare the suction cups for optimal adhesion.
Position on Suitable Surfaces: Place the mat onto a clean, smooth shower recess or bath base free from dirt, oils or residue. Conni’s Shower Mat is not suitable for textured or pre-treated anti-slip surfaces.
Position Flat: Lay the mat with suction cups flat against the surface, ensuring there are no kinks or ripples.
Press Suction Cups Firmly: Once positioned, press down across the entire mat to ensure all suction cups are engaged evenly and securely.
Check Before Stepping On: Before stepping onto the mat, ensure it lies flat and is securely positioned.  Step onto the mat carefully. Use a grab rail or the edge of the bath for additional support where available.
Remove and Rinse: After use, gently lift one corner to release the suction, rinse thoroughly with clean water and hang to air dry.

  1. Wash and Rinse

    • Clean both the front and back surfaces with soapy water.

    • Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.

  2. Avoid Harsh Products

    • Do not use bleach.

    • Do not use fabric softener.

  3. Remove Excess Water

    • Allow the mat to drain off excess water before drying.

  4. Do Not Hang

    • Do not hang the mat over a line or railing, as this can cause warping.

  5. Drying

    • Lay the mat flat in the sun to dry completely.
