Glenys Drayton – Founder/Owner (1956–2024)

When Glenys was little she used to set up a table in her bedroom and pretend it was her office.
She had pens and notepads and even though she couldn’t write properly she would scribble endlessly across the paper pretending to write like a big person.
When she was little she constantly said she wanted to help old people…and animals… and she always wondered if trees felt pain.
Glenys thought about being a nurse, but she didn't cope with blood and still has to look away when having a blood test.
She found her way into technical textiles, particularly the absorbent type and combined that with helping people, so incontinence became her ‘thing’.
Glenys soon discovered her career path filled all her childhood desires…helping people and animals and saving trees.
Bingo....CONNI was created and remains her passion.
Glenys passed away in Aug 2024, her legacy remains at the forefront of everything we do.
Sandy – Founder/Owner

Sandy grew up in the Mallee region of Victoria and had to get used to flies and dust at a very young age. She despises flies and dust now.
When she moved to Melbourne to attend hairdressing college she became a city girl and never went back.
When she retired from hairdressing after 35 years of service and owning her own salons she decided to team up with the Conni bunch.
She now advises them on how to add style to everything they do.
She always thought the incontinence sector needed some styling and we think she’s nailed it. Well, at least with us she has.
Sandy loves dogs (she has 4 of them), wishes she had a kitten, would love to get a baby goat and would have made a brilliant architect.
If she hadn’t become a hairdresser she would have trained guide dogs… but she was a woman. Women weren’t allowed to train guide dogs back then.

Where do we even begin with Narelle? After an impressive career in optical, Narelle joined Conni and has become a powerhouse in customer service, now shining as an expert in all things NDIS.
From the moment Narelle joined our team, she elevated both our customer service and NDIS capabilities. Her deep knowledge of the Conni range and the NDIS process ensures that every customer interaction is seamless. With her bubbly personality and commitment to providing a 10/10 experience, Narelle always puts customers first. If you’ve ever called Conni, placed an NDIS order, or emailed us, there’s a good chance you’ve had the pleasure of speaking with her!
When she’s not excelling at work, Narelle spends quality time with her two amazing kids and her fur baby, Leroy. Living close to the water, she enjoys beach outings with Leroy, tending to her thriving backyard garden, and taking spontaneous day trips to discover new and exciting places and delicious food. Narelle knows how to make the most of her downtime, balancing work and life with a sense of adventure and joy.

Meet Erika, our Brand Engagement Specialist at Conni. Erika plays a key role in strengthening connections between the brand, customers, and retail partners, ensuring Conni is represented with purpose and consistency across the business.
With a focus on brand presence at expos and supporting retailers to sell with confidence, Erika is always thinking about practical, customer-focused ways to drive engagement and results. Her approach is grounded in collaboration and attention to detail.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with family and friends. This year, she’s also challenging herself to get back into sport and train for a triathlon competition.
Nigar – Product Specialist

Nigar brings with her years of experience in retail and a background in textiles, which gives her a solid foundation for understanding how products should feel and function.
"What I really enjoy about my role at Conni is being part of a team that cares about making everyday life a little easier and more comfortable for people. With my background in textiles, it is rewarding to put that knowledge to good use in products that genuinely help."
She is quietly adventurous; you would never guess that she jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet! Bungee jumping is next on her thrill list, and we are pretty sure she has already mentally packed her parachute.
When she is not deep in product development or geeking out over fabric construction, Nigar is out exploring Australia with her adventure buddy (her husband) and their cheeky little sidekick (her daughter). Her ideal downtime? A couch, a good snack, and a binge-worthy real-life documentary, preferably something that lets her pretend she is solving cold cases.
Kelly – Production & Management Admin Assistant

Kelly is Conni’s behind-the-scenes organiser and go-to support across production and management. As the team all-rounder, she helps keep projects moving by liaising with factories, coordinating team input, and supporting packaging and production updates from start to finish.
With a natural ability to connect the dots and juggle multiple moving parts at once, Kelly thrives on keeping processes clear, communication flowing, and deadlines on track.
Outside of work, life is equally high-energy as she and her fiance raise their two-year-old twins.
Keely – Customer Service

Keely is amember of the Conni Customer Service team, where she assists customers via live chat, phone, and email, providing friendly and reliable support every step of the way. A true hidden superstar, Keely enjoys building genuine connections with customers and takes pride in helping find the right solutions to suit their needs.
Keely also works in our NDIS area and helps ensure NDIS orders are processed and sent out promptly, offers guidance and support for NDIS enquiries, and is the first point of contact for handling return parcels. She loves being part of the Conni team, working alongside wonderful colleagues, connecting with customers, and feeling truly valued in her role.
Outside of work, Keely is an avid PC gamer and Pokémon card collector. She and her partner are currently working on renovations to their new home, an exciting project that keeps them busy. Keely also enjoys spending time with her dog, Joji.
