We had the privilege of attending the recent Disability Expo held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition (MCEC) Building in Melbourne on the weekend.

The excitement felt by the Conni team leading up to this event was palpable.  It had been four years since our last visit due to COVID lockdowns and we simply couldn’t wait to see new and old faces and share the Conni range with this incredible audience.

Our booth was carefully orchestrated to showcase our products, including where and how they can be used. We can’t forget to mention our creative, Ash, who worked tirelessly on the beautiful backdrop ‘Conni’s Place’.

The Melbourne Disability Expo was also very special for a couple of our Customer Service team members, this was their first experience representing Conni at an Expo. You may know them or have spoken to them…it was Melanie and Narelle!  It granted the team the opportunity to meet current Conni stockists, NDIS Plan Managers, Support Staff and Coordinators and Continence Nurses as well as introduce themselves to new members of this ever-growing industry.

Our Consumer Relations Manager, Shalbi, and General Manager, Norm, also attended and soaked up all of the valuable information that will be harnessed and used to further support the entire Conni team enabling everyone to extend on their knowledge.  These insights will also help us expand the Conni range and continue to grow in the right direction.

Plus, as you all know, we all love a chat on the phones and so it was nice to do that in person with so many of you! Each individual left us with a desire and determination to exceed our current approaches. Despite the massive MCEC location, ignoring the hustle and bustle of the crowds, it is the personal stories and lived experiences using the Conni range and how that has assisted people living independently with less worry and stress, that is what we will remember the most.

Establishing new connections and nurturing present relationships, like we did over the weekend, is so important to us and we’ll continue to do more of these expo days. Welcome to Conni.  We are here and we are listening.
